Octavian Oprea (born 1991, Focşani) is the interim president of ADR since January 11, 2021. Previously, he was the vice-president of ADR with duties in the management of digitization projects. Between 2010 and 2016, Octavian Oprea attended the courses of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, specializing in economics and management. After graduating from his studies, he became a business consultant, promoting effective management techniques through the use of software systems for planning the companies' resources. Using data-driven decision-making tools, it has achieved excellent results in various areas of activity – from managing financial and human resources to production, trade or sales. From May 2017 to February 2020, when he became VICE PRESIDENT ADR, he worked as Interfaces Country Lead & Project Manager for one of the world's largest software companies. His duties covered all the implementation stages of a project, from business analysis and training of software system users, to golive support and post-implementation assistance. He has also been involved in managing the interoperability and interconnection activities of the information systems of a multinational corporation in the FMCG industry, by interconnecting ERP, CRM, EDI platforms, etc.
